How To Set Up D’CENT Hardware Wallet
Step 1 (Select Language)
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the D’CENT wallet. You can now select the language(English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish) using the ∧ (Up) or ∨ (Down) button and click OK.
Step 2 (Create Wallet)
In the new menu, select Create Wallet. By selecting this option, a new wallet and a new private key will be created for you.
Step 3 (PIN & Fingerprint)
PIN
Use the ∧ (Up, increase number value) or ∨ (Down, decrease number value) button to select a 4 to 8 word PIN for yourself and press the OK button. Now you have to re-enter the previous PIN and verify your PIN.
Fingerprint
If you want your fingerprint to be registered on the device, you need to place your finger on the sensor to start the scanning process. You must verify your fingerprint after the scan is 100% complete. Also, you can skip this step if you do not want to enable Fingerprint. (You can enable Fingerprint later via the settings menu)
Step 4 (recovery seeds)
At this point, you need to write all the recovery seeds that are displayed to you by the wallet on the Recovery Card and keep it in a safe place. After writing the word list, click OK Continue until you write a total of 24 words and finally press the OK button. After doing this step, you must confirm the recovery seeds. You will be asked to enter all 24 words for verification.
Note: The recovery phrase is actually the key to accessing your wallet. If your wallet is stolen or lost, you can use this recovery phrase to recover it. I recommend that you save this recovery phrase in a safe place in multiple versions.
